Mayor of Fjord Municipality, Terese Jemtegård Moen, and the project manager for Hofseth, Svein Flølo, informed about the status and progress. Many good questions from the attendees were answered. This was the second consecutive year such a public meeting was organised. Meeting lead, Stein Ove Bjørge, says after the meeting that the residents will benefit from correct and balanced information about this project. It was mentioned that Hofseth’s goal is to produce fish in a good and sustainable way and locally, like the project in Raudbergvika. If it’s realised, it will have great significance for Eidsdal and the surrounding area.
